Its been awhile...

probably because I am really bad with sharing my personal thoughts, so I don't update unless I have something everyonecan read...I think everyone can read this. I am bad at sharing things, so please dont laugh.

I kinda had a reality check today. I have always been the type of person who focuses on NOW, because that is what I can control. I feel like as a person we cant focus on the past or we will regret and wish for thigns that can't happen or be. At the same time, we can't be consumed with the future because we can't contol it and if we are focused on it we cheat ourselves out of the present. And thats what I have come to realize, I am way to focused on the future and I am just living the present instead of enjoying it. This time ironically enough my sticky area is not my career or health... its the constant area that I thought doesnt change... my boyfriend. I have been so much thinking about what is going to happen in the future that I've created this routine for myself and him... and I think we both agree its needing some remodeling. Just with how we look at things. I need to be concerned with the now and look to but not stare at the future. Its like the sun, its really cool to look at if its a little shaded btu seeing it straight on can be blinding.

So in conclusion, to myself and everyone who is reading this: dont worry about whats to come. Time and God will take care of that. Dont worry about what happened because its over. Instead put all of your energy into making every second you live the best it can be and you will have a wonderful past to look back on and a wonderful future to look ahead to.

And speaking of the past.... time to go do some Anthropology reading... its all about Neadtherthals... how old!

Hello.

Today is the first day of class and I am wasting an hour in the music library. Woohoo.

Let me update all you,

Band Camp went wonderfully. I really really really enjoyed working with the newbies on their marching. it made the week a lot of fun, and all the freshman are so awesome. I also had a blast working with mr. salty sunshine aka, malbert.  He was a good per son to work with!! As always, Val and Chad did wonderfully as well. By yesterday, which was the end of camp, we got through all of pre game, 3 in 1, and the first song for our first show. NOT BAD AT ALL! We played CTF last night, my legs hurts. More like my groin area... haha.

The apartment is getting there. We are suppose to be getting our dishwasher, stove, and blinds fixed within the next week. Lets hope Gabes Place doesn't drop the ball... again. I am slowly getting unpacked.

Other than that, not to much. Auditions today.... haha, seeing I barely practiced this is going to be interesting... which translates into this s going to blow- HARD. Oh well, I'll let you know how it goes. Have a good first day all u ILLINI.

Today was such a great day!

The newbies are awesome!!! We marched all mornign teaching them fundimentals and they did great, absolutly awesome! It was so much fun to be infront of them! Then in the evening, their personalities all started to come out because they were getting more comfrotable, and it was soooo much fun to watch! The evening didn't go as well marching, but we will make up for it tommorrow. I really love being a section leader, I don;t even mind having to get up early and put in some extra time, its so rewarding helping the newbies! I can't wiat to really dig in tommorrow and put they whole section together.

We picked squads today, I think mine will be good. Its safe, nothing crazy, nothing boring. I think the personalities will mesh, knock on wood! I can't tell you who's in it yet, its a secret.... shh...........

Later alligator!
